I'm alive or am I alive?

How can anyone know if he is alive? If his heart beats, doesn't mean he is alive? If your body and brain is working well, are u alive? If you have everything you ever wanted, does it mean you are alive? Can anyone ever have everything or be satisfied? If a person is living in greif does it mean he is dead? Can anyone consider a person with no ambitions, alive?

If you live a normal life and die a normal death, does it mean you once was alive? After dying and people forgetting you ever exited ,cause you didn't leave a trace behind you, means you were once alive?

Can a person who spent his entire life working, ever be considered alive? If you have nothing to lose or nothing to fight for, are you alive?

CAN ANYONE EVER BE ALIVE?Am i alive or living?
Can anyone define " I am alive"?

How do you know when you're angry?

I just felt so angry so i did this search read it, its true.

When people become angry they can experience many different thoughts, feelings, and physical reactions. Some people experience strong feelings of resentment or hostility, raise their voice, curse, or throw things. Other people experience physical symptoms such as headaches, nausea, and increases in heart rate and blood pressure. For some, angry feelings become so overwhelming they feel ready to explode. Others may not know they are angry about a situation but will feel physically ill, guilty, or will overreact to other situations. Listed below are some direct and indirect expressions of anger. Look through the list and see if you experience any of these thoughts, feelings, or behaviors.

Direct signs of anger: raised voice, yelling, cursing, headaches, stomach aches, tightness in the throat, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, clenched fists, threatening others, pushing, shoving, hitting, feeling violated, hostility, resentment, rage.

Indirect signs of anger: excessive sleeping, chronic fatigue, anxiety, numbness, depression, sulking, overeating, loss of appetite, crying, constant criticizing, mean or hostile joking, abuse of alcohol or drugs.

Many people experience these general signs of anger. First, identify which feelings you experience using the list above. Then, look at how your anger develops. There are some feelings and thoughts that occur when anger begins and those that occur as anger increases. In order to identify how your anger symptoms develop, it may be helpful to fill out an anger scale. This scale will help you identify your physical symptoms, thoughts and feelings when you first begin to feel angry and help you track how these change as your level of anger increases. In order to use the form, try to think of situations in the past where you have experienced anger and recall what feelings and symptoms you experienced. It will be helpful to think of situations where you experienced different levels of anger in order to better understand how your feelings, thoughts and physical symptoms change.

My first day at work ( training)

Oops I got a message "Mira wake up" from my friend Nisreen, I replied with my closed eyes "Kaman shwai" and slept for another 5 mins to wake up on the alarm screaming wake up girl. I WANT TO SLEEP I told myself its still 7:50 I have to be at work 8:30 sleep another 5 mins but I found myself moving out of bed trying to wake up and get ready. I was there on time but had to wait for nisreen to come to enter together. Anyways we entered at last both with sleepy eyes to find out that the boss didn’t come yet and we have to wait for him to tell us what to do. Well we waited for a while but instead of coming he called his secretary and told her what to do with us. Well after a while another lady came and talked to us about he project showed us the plans after she did she was like there are magazines there choose the furniture???????
We were like WHAT how come we can't start from the middle???????? We have to do some research first???/?? Then draw a plan of the furniture then decide what the materials are, the form and type????? And she said there is no access to the internet we can't do online search and we have to wait for Mr Safwan to get access of the books in his library and the one responsible for the interior is abroad so we have to wait. Well we were a bit mad after all this and surprised but still we took a look at some stuff waiting for Mr safwan to come.

Finally Mr safwan came we went to him object and to tell him that there is a lack of data but he was so nice and didn’t give us the chance .He gave us books and showed us the exterior animated on 3Dstudio max told us the theme of the hotel we must design " Holiday in dead sea". After that we went happily to start our work we did a fine so far for the first day and the sleepy eyes and silly mood we were in. We have only half an hour lunch beak so we went to Nisreen's grandparents as it is few meters away. After that we went back to continue our work. In general it wasn’t a bad experience but I can't judge from the first day .

The four wives

Once upon a time...

There was a rich King who had 4 wives.

He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to the finest of delicacies. He gave her nothing but the best.

He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. However, he feared that one day
she would leave him for another.

He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidante and was always kind, considerate and patient with him. Whenever the King faced a problem, he could confide in her to help him get through the difficult times.

The King's 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom. However, he did not love the first wife and although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her.

One day, the King fell ill and he knew his time was short.

He thought of his luxurious life and pondered, "I now have 4 wives with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone.

Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I have loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?"

"No way!" replied the 4th wife and she walked away without another word.

Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart.

The sad King then asked the 3rd wife, "I have loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?"

"No!" replied the 3rd wife. "Life is too good!
When you die, I'm going to remarry!"

His heart sank and turned cold.

He then asked the 2nd wife, "I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me
and keep me company?"

"I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!" replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only send you to your grave."

Her answer came like a bolt of thunder and the King was devastated.

Then a voice called out:

"I'll leave with you and follow you no matter where you go." The King looked up and there was his first wife. She was so skinny,
she suffered from malnutrition.

Greatly grieved, the King said, "I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!"

In Truth, we all have 4 wives in our lives ...

Our 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it'll leave us when we die.

Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth.
When we die, it will all go to others.

Our 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.

And our 1st wife is our Soul,

often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the ego.
However, our Soul is the only thing that will follow us wherever we go.

So cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now!
It is your greatest gift to offer the world.

Let it Shine!

Shopping with Grandma

I am sure I will always remember this day for years to come. I spent the first half of the day with my grandma, we went shopping then she took me for lunch. I think today was one of the days that really means alot to me and I always have to remember it and act the way grandma acted with me. Grandma is a great person who loves me a lot. She is quite sensitive and a caring person who thinks of others before thinking of herself.

The second reason why I really like this day is that I was informed that I will start training from this Saturday with a great design company called “Nasir’s Architects” What happened to wood works is that I asked many people about them and they all said that they are good but they are more specialized with wood furniture. Well I donno I just felt more comfortable when meeting MR safwan the manager of Nasir’s architects. Wish me luck :)

Yaaaaaaaaaay I am starting training this Saturday no words can express how happy I am :D

Dedicated to my special grandma I love u so much teta :)

Interior design vs Jewelry design

Let me go back in time, three years ago it was a turning point in my life. I had to decide what my major will be. I had many options to choose from, my dad once being a doctor wanted me to study pharmacy. I hate memorizing so I was against this option and said NO to my dad for the first time in my life. My mom wanted me to study jewelry design which we don't have in Jordan. Ok I didn't know what to study at all. I like drawing I used to draw some stuff as a kid so I didn't mind studying design. But both dad and mom knew I am the kind of person who can live alone I cant go study abroad especially at that age 17yrs. So the best solution was to study something else but still under DESIGN category. So from here the idea of interior design came as a temporary option so when I finish I will be in a suitable age to go study jewelry design abroad.

Still in the summer before joining university as an interior designer I joined my uncles and took a course in "Diamond grading and classification". This course was presented by a Belgium professor who came to train Jordanian jewelers for one month. I knew nothing about Diamonds at the time; I was 17 the youngest and the only girl present with my three uncles. Now I have a certificate and I was one of the best students in the course taking into consideration it was my first experience with stones unlike others.

As you guys know, now I am a good interior designer and I love interior design. I don't know if I should stop here of continue the first plan. I still have one year to think but still I can't decide what I want. I am a good interior designer I am afraid I will not be as good if I gave up interior design and continued jewelry design. Or maybe jewelry design was the best option for me because it's easier and at least I can help my family. I feel I am facing another turning point in my life. I just can't choose I like both and in both cases I am a designer and I love this word.

Can anyone put himself in my place and help me decide?

Voting

Well at the beginning, i didn't want to comment on the voting thing but now i have changed my mind . As it is a Jordan planet it has to show different views, mentalities ,and people personalities. Otherwise it better be called the planet of perfection. Jordan is country like other countries, which has a diversity of opinions, and people ,so the best way to represent the country is to show how all people think and not to be selective. At the end its just my opinion .
