What do you think?

I am reading men are from mars women are from venus book and stopped on this sentence
"Men are motivated and empowered when they feel needed while woman are motivated and empowered when they feel cherished"
I agree what do you think??

  • Never read the book.

    But I think "woman are motivated and empowered when they feel ignored" fits better, cuz when they are cherished, they get arrogant and superior!

    Ihsan and ghalia the book talks after they got married so they are beyond that level :P and i agree with you both but i thik the same thing applies to guys :P

  • I read that book...

    I can agree to the part about men, I think the total nighmare for a man is to be a "nobody", with nobody dependant on him. This actually defines "being SOMEONE" for them.

    That book helped me understand Venusians, it's really great.

  • Well, i believ its true but lets keep n mind that ths shows the weakness of women and the lack of enthusiasm :P. as for me , the most beautiful thng n a woman is her femininty and ths shows when i cherich my girl for example, so why not men cherich women and women in return need thier men more and more!!

    Don't you like it when your sweetheart is moody and won't let u know what's upsetting her?Keeping u guessing was it me?What did I say or do? Don't u like it when every thing is cool and great she brings up something stupid u said or did to blow off the evening?

    It's just cute...keeps u guessing and guessing till u reach the conclusion that she's nuts...and u start looking for someone new...

    well all I could say , that men are simple..they never hide anything...women adore hinting and never letting out..which makes them cute and a good subject for entertainment

    Women are the best thing ever...can't live without them...

  • I am also reading this book right now, and I agree that some parts of it make sense. But still, I think he oversimplifies things in his analysis. Almost like giving an excuse to the way things are between men and women.. I don't know. I think a lot of this stuff is known instinctively by women, but men could learn a lot about needing to be considerate and cherishing ;)
